A stripe-lover, this Sunday I wore my latest buy from phase Eight, a ‘Stripe Cindy Tunic’ in Mushroom/Ivory for a laid back lunch and post cinema trip. Loving discovering amazing backgrounds for these shoots too.

I adore the bikes stacked up in the background and the bright green garden behind the railings we found close to my brother’s restaurant Giorgio’s and the Cottage road cinema we went to afterwards!

This nautical style stripe is a classic, never going out of style and took me back to the Cannes film festival a few years back where there were lots of day celebrations on yachts this would have looked perfect for.

Surprising how flattering a horizontal stripe can be too, I think it gets a lot of bad press! I’ll have to save it for next year’s festival.

A bargain too reduced from £69 to £20.70.

Jacket is Primarni (!) £18. I love the 80’s bleach wash, distressed vibe and jewel adorned shoulders. very Madonna at her finest! Sparkly sandals £35 Aldo.

Indian gold bangle was 99p from Oxfam and picks up on the gold detail on the dress’ belt.

I kept getting photobombed by my much more photogenic mini me Oliver so I invited him to pose with me too! He’s wearing a denim jacket from Zara, jeans and tee from Tu at Sainsburys and white leather converse trainers.

I typically look at that amazing little dude and can’t believe he’s mine! proud Mummy!
